BThe power plant is a 2-cylinder opposed ohv motor of 750 ccm. Valve management, camshaft, and half-domed combustion chamber are not designed for top, but for sustained performance. 24 PS at 4400 rpm - and 5 mkg torque at 3600 rpm are available. Aluminum heads equipped with large cooling fins keep temperature under control while driving at low speed and/or in hot weather conditions. Only roller-bearings are used for low friction and long life. Camshaft and oil pump are gear-driven by the crankshaft. The clutch is of single dry design and dimensioned as found in compact motor cars. Both carburetors (GRAETZIN 24/1 and 24/2) share the same oil-soaked air filter, which is placed on top of the gearbox. Magnetic ignition ensures functioning even at battery failure. Ignition magneto is either NORIS type ZG 2a, or BOSCH FJ 2R 134.
