The box features four forward and one reverse gears. The
first three forward gears can be further reduced by a back gear lever for
off-road or heavy duty conditions. If tried to engage the forth off-road
gear a dog-pin at the gearshift-lever will shift the reducer gear-lever in a
neutral position, thus disconnecting the power train between gearbox and
rear axle drive. Normal road gears are shifted by foot- or by hand lever.
Shifting by foot will also move the hand lever, thus indicating the gear
position. Reverse and reducer gears are shifted by hand only.
A rubber damper is installed between gearbox and rear axle drive to absorb
hard knocks at load changes.
