The frame is an easily disassembled construction of rigid
design. In case of damage or distortion of one part, only the damaged part
need to be changed. About three frames were kept as spares for a 10 to 12
motorcycle unit,
as it was unlikely that more of the same frame section were effected at
anyone time. Telescopic fork were alike those of the solo motorcycles, but
were beefed-up to cope with the extra strain due to higher weight and off-road
strain. Double action hydraulic shock absorbers ensured soft response
characteristics. Ordinary motor oil was used to simplify supply at the
front.
